Carkeek Park is a Seattle City Park in Northwest Seattle. Meet at the Environmental Learning Center parking lot. This field trip will spend 2-3 hours wandering the trails, looking at the trees, shrubs, and woodland flowers.

Address: 950 NW Carkeek Park Rd, Seattle, WA

More Information: Carkeek Park

In Carkeek Park, years of hard work by neighbors and volunteers have brought salmon back to Pipers Creek, restored major portions of the forest, built miles of trails, created sustainable gardens, educated visitors, and restored a unique fruit orchard.
We expect to finish about 10:30/11am. Directions: Take the Northgate Way exit off I-5. Go west on NE Northgate Way as it turns into N 105th St . Take a right onto Greenwood Ave N. Turn left onto NW (or N) 110th St . This street winds down to the Carkeek Park entrance. After passing through the park gate, take the first right into the parking lot next to the learning center. Please be prepared for cool morning weather. Bring layered clothing, umbrella and raingear just in case.
