So you've done some climbing and want to learn better technique to get past some of those tricky spots? Maybe you want to learn about this whole crack climbing thing? Or possibly want to get rid of some of your gorilla tendencies and add some grace and control? This is the clinic for you!
We’ll spend a few hours working on essential climbing technique to get you past “ladder climbing” on up those tricky routes. We’ll explore correct balance, rest positions, gripping, smearing, stemming and chimneying, overhangs, laybacking, and the all frustrating crack climbing. What we need from you is as follows:
Gear – Harness, belay device and biner (rock shoes nice but not necessary)
Skills – Already belaying top-rope, some gym climbing (or outdoors) experience
We’ll belay each other and work on specific skills tailored to your desires in a casual and non-competitive atmosphere.
Bring rock shoes,harness,belay device,athletic tape. Experience indoor climbing wall and work on basic techniques.
