This is a unofficial conditioner hike (cannot be used for credit in scrambling or climbing. The Recommended backpack weight is 37 (f) - 45 lb (m) / Tacoma beginning climbing is 25lbs or 20% of body weight. Hike at your own pace and pack weight. My pack weight will be ~50lbs on the way up. I'm training for a Mt. Shasta, Mt Rainer summit and 220miles on the JMT with a summit of Mt. Whitney.
