Annette Lk TH to approx 3200 ft; then uphill to 4800 ft to small basin; from there travel south to ascend the north ridge of Silver peak; stay on west side when the ridge runs into cliffs.

UPDATE: DUE TO FORECASTED AVALANCHE CONDITIONS, ORIGINAL DESTINATION OF RED MOUNTAIN (SNOQUALMIE PASS) HAS BEEN CHANGED TO SILVER VIA ANETTE LAKE TH. This trip is a winter scramble. Winter scrambles are open only to GRADUATES of the Scramble or Basic Climbing class. Students of either one must wait until next year to participate.

The goal of this trip will be to scramble Red Mountain 5890’, (the one near Kendall Peak at Snoqualmie Pass).
