The Leadership course is for hikers, scramblers, climbers, winter travelers, and kayakers. The course focus is generic outdoor leadership: the concepts and principles in action common to leading any Mountaineer activity. Additionally, individual branch activities will cover topics unique to their activity. Using situational exercises, students will have an opportunity to explore and develop their own leadership style and observe and learn from leadership styles of their fellow students. Course graduation requires attending evening workshops on 4/10, 4/11, and 4/12/2013, and successful mentored assistant lead of a club activity.

The book, Outdoor Leadeship by John Graham is included in the course fee.
