Eastgate Park & Ride in Bellevue (east side)

You will need a Sno Park Pass. Very popular area on the weekends. You will need to stay on the logging road leading to the lakes to minimize the avalanche danger.

NOTE: Priority will be given to recent Seattle Basic Snowshoe graduates.

For this trip, moderate pace would be estimated between 1.5-2 mph on well-packed snow and 1-1.5 mph on newer snow (not including breaks). Please be advised that to park at the trailhead, Sno-Park permits are needed. If need be, we can park farther away. Starting from a non-Sno-Park permitted area will add an additional mile to the trip.
