This is a conditioning hike so we will keep up a brisk pace with few stops. We will shuttle cars up to the parking lot at Tiger Summit on highway 18 and hike first to East Tiger Summit (3000') then around on roads and trails either up to the Hikers Hut near West Tiger 1 and on down to Poo Poo Point (weather permitting) or around on the TMT and One View trail directly to Poo Poo Point. Microspikes will be required for slippery sections at the top; snowshoes may be useful for parts if recent snowfall. Dress in non-cotton layers with a sturdy waterproof shell and rainpants, and wear sturdy waterproof footwear. Trekking poles are recommended for the descents.
