In British Columbia’s Valkyr Range are four peaks offering nine ski zones. Experienced backcountry skiers will be thrilled and challenged by the Hilda terrain - from steep and exciting alpine drops to treed runs through old growth spruce forests. There are numerous big mountain runs in the home basin, and options for longer tours to access awesome skiing in other drainages. A favorite destination is Mt. Lequereux, a 3-hour tour from the lodge. The lodge is a compact 3 stories and can accommodate 12 guests in 6 private rooms with all bedding and towels, and additional bedrooms for staff. It has AC power, internet access, and indoor plumbing (toilet and shower). There is a wood-fired hot tub on the covered deck! A sauna hut will be built summer 2013 for après ski heat therapy!

We will self-guide and self-cater exclusively for our group. February 9 drive to Nakusp, February 10 helicopter in, February 10-17 ski amazing subalpine tree glades and alpine powder bowls, February 17 helicopter out, February 18 drive home. The US$1,500 price includes helicopter in, deluxe Hilda Lodge, hut-keeper, and helicopter out.
