This class will build on the skills learned in the Intro to Moving Water class, such as eddy turns, peel outs and brace turns. The conditions that will be encountered will be eddies, boils and seams and we will focus on how to navigate these features. A reliable roll , while not a prerequisite, will be a useful tool, as will good rescue skills.

Are you feeling that you're ready to tackle conditions a bit more challenging that Canoe Pass? Than this class may be the one for you! In Dynamic Conditions we will work on boat placement and control, moving from a low brace turn into a high brace turn and how to use the boils and seams to your advantage or how to tell when they won't help you even a little bit. This class will get your blood pumping and hone your rough water skills to help take you to the next level.
