Smith Brook Rd. to 1st hairpin and head up to the lake. Be sure to have good topo or GPS.

Last year we didn't get any views at the top so let's hope for better this year! While the beginning of this trip is on a gentle road, the ascent to the lake is on some very steep terrain, so bring your ice axe and your good snow skills 'cause you're going to need 'em! We'll get a late start so hopefully we don't have to get stressed out on the drive to the trailhead. See you there!
