Hello Everyone: Well, the wx forecast is not improving despite my best hopes for a change, and the consensus is accepting of a change in venue. Therefore, I'm changing the trip to Mount Margaret on the east side. The forecast is for 60% precip, and it should be snow rather than rain. This changes the trip specs to 9 mi rt and about 2800'gain. These stats are subject to change depending upon how far up the road is drivable. Bring the usual standard scramble gear, including traction devices and showshoes to the trailhead. I suspect we won't need the showshoes (we'll decide at the trailhead whether to carry the snowshoes), but will need the traction at the top. Plan for rain but hope for snow. Since I've changed the trip, please advise if you will NOT be attending. Otherwise, we'll see you at Issaquah Transit Center. We'll meet at the lower level just outside the parking garage to regroup. Think SNOW, not rain! Brad & Gay. 206-852-8422.
