Learning to roll will not only enable you to quickly recover from a capsize; it will also help you to really learn how to brace (bracing is so much easier when you know that if you go too far you can roll up) and become more comfortable and confident in bumpy water.

This clinic will consist of a video / dinner evening on December 1; pool sessions December 2, 9, and 16; and, optionally, a salt water session on the afternoon of December 16. You will then be encouraged to go to pool play frequently to practice your skills.

You will need to wear something to keep you warm in the pool (I will wear a shortie wet suit) and appropriate footwear (booties are perfect) and bring a towel, goggles, and nose clip or a face mask as well as your clean boat, spray skirt, pfd, paddle, and paddle float.

Clinic is limited to 10 students.

Because we have to rent a pool for this activity, I request you sign up as soon as you know you can commit to the dates. But please note that 50$ of the fee is non-refundable -- again because we need to rent a pool.
