Ira Spring Trailhead
Follow I-90 to exit #45. Go north and turn left on Road #9030. Continue on Road #9030 for three-quarters of a mile. At the “Y” stay left (straight) onto Road #9031 (Mason Lake Road). Continue for 3.2 miles to the trailhead at the end of road. **IF THE ROAD MAINTENANCE DETOUR IS STILL IN PLAY GO TO THE NEXT EXIT (47), GO OVER THE FREEWAY AND HEAD BACK TOWARDS SEATTLE TO ACCESS EXIT 45. THE REST OF THE DIRECTIONS ARE THE SAME.
Work will take place withing the first mile and will consist of trail restoration, re-installing waterbars, placing geotextile in the avalanche area and rock work at the new approaches to the new Mason Creek ford. Work will be from 8:30 AM to 3:30PM. Please wear long sleeves, long pants & boots. Bring your lunch & plenty of water. Any questions contact Annik (206-368-2688 or annikw@gmail.com).
