My planned turnaround point is the high point of the trail at 6360 feet. Everyone needs to have appropriate gear including the Ten Essentials. A Mt Rainier Pass, National Park pass, or $15 day pass is needed for each vehicle parked at the trailhead at Mowich Lake. We will consolidate vehicles at the meetup point. If you are willing to drive from the P&R and already have a pass, please indicate so when signing up.

Where/When to Meet 7:30 AM at the junction of SR 410 & SR 165 in Buckley. There is a little parking lot (Google Map) along the Foothills (bike) Trail on the south side of the intersection. From there it is about an hour’s drive to Mowich Lake.
