There are numerous fallen trees across the trail a couple of small stream crossings. There are a few very steep parts. The last part of the hike up to foggy lake is up a boulder field. And, due to a road wash out that has never been fixed there is an extra 1 mile hike to the trail head (this hike will end up being 12.5 miles round trip). But, it is well worth it!
