We'll hike past Sheep Lake up to Sourdough Gap. Just on the other side of the Gap is a nice little spot that has views of Mt. Rainier where we'll stop for lunch before heading back. If you've not hiked with me before, the pace is slow (some might call it a "social" pace) in order to take in the scenery -- and a few photographs -- along the way. NWFS permit required for parking at the trailhead.
