Mt. Pilchuck rises 1 mile above the surrounding countryside and is perched on the western edge of the Cascades. Panoramic views of Mt. Rainier, Mt. Baker, Glacier Peak, the Olympics, Seattle, and the San Juans are just some of what can be seen on a clear from this historical and restored fire lookout. A Northwest Forest Pass or National Forest Recreation Day Pass is required to park at the trailhead. The pace for this hike will be ~2mph.
