Lodge Description:
The lodge will host its traditional Holiday Opening again this year with its combination of good food, fellowship and skiing. Winter Opening will begin with dinner on Wednesday, December 26 and end on Wednesday, January 2 with lunch. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are provided between th Opening and closing. Reservations for Winter Opening close on Wednesday, December 19 at 5:00 PM. Mt. Baker Lodge provides a rustic yet comfortable home base for downhill, cross-country, and backcountry skiing, boarding, tubing, winter photography and snowshoeing. All Club and non-Club members as well as all ages and abilities are welcome to enjoy the camaraderie of other lovers of the out-of-doors in a family friendly environment. Families with children five or under should call the host prior to registering. Free lift tickets are available to 5th graders enrolled in the Ski cos. 5th Graders Free Program. A 5th Grader's Free Card can only be obtained, in person or by mail, through the Mt. Baker Ski Co’s. Business office in Bellingham. Mail orders take up to three weeks. Visit the Ski cos. website at www.mtbaker.us for a copy of the application and additional information. A 5th grader who is enrolled in the Mt. Baker 5th Graders Free Program is eligible for a FREE lift ticket any time he/she visits Mt. Baker during the current season provided he/she is accompanied at the ski area by an adult who has a season pass or purchases a lift ticket. Weekend & holiday lift tickets with tax: child (6yrs & under) free, youth (7-15 yrs) $38, adults (16+yrs) $54, seniors (60-69yrs) $47and super seniors (70+) $35. If you have special food or other needs please contact the host to confirm that we can accommodate your requirements. Please no pets. The generator is usually turned off around 10:30 p.m. and thereafter the outdoor lights from the parking lot to the lodge are off. Be sure to bring chains, sleeping bag, flashlight, pillow, bath towel and indoor shoes. The Baker Lodge Committee hopes you enjoy your outing and welcomes comments and suggestions.
