Description
---
Located on Buck Mountain Road aka Rocky Point Road aka Forest Road 2767, the Elbo Creek Trail is one of the abandoned trails to the summit up of Buck Mountain. The trail provides for a quiet hike up long switchbacks that open to the NE to provide an occasional view of Mt Walker. In the end, the last 400 feet elevation gained are off trail and and are to a ridge looking SE at the Hood Canal. Elbo Creek is directly across Hwy 101 from Mt Walker in the Quilcene area.
