| Say goodbye to lift lines and lift tickets. Learn how to do telemark turns on free heel skis and how to safely ski in backcountry areas. It is for skiers with advanced nordic or basic alpine skiing skills. We start with teaching beginning telemark skiing, with the goal of working up to skiing steeper, untouched snow. The course also includes Level I avalanche training Lectures Jan 8th & 22nd Lift Area Instruction Jan 12, 19 & 2 and Feb 2 at Snoqualmie Pass (Summit West Ski Area) Avalanche Safety Field Trip Feb 9th at Mt. Rainier |
