Foreign Cruises

In September of 2006, three of our skippers chartered Beneteau sailboats for week-long cruises in several foreign locations. Members who had taken the Basic Crewing Course offered every spring by the Seattle Branch Sailing Committee were eligible to register and participate as crewmembers.

Skippers Hal Tobie and Tom Pozarycki chartered two Beneteau 42 sailboats and sailed in the Adriatic Sea near Croatia. They traveled in the numerous islands just off the Eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea not far from Venice. Skipper Jim Doub chartered a Beneteau 50 and sailed along the Greek coast and islands.

Several skippers are discussing plans for foreign cruises in 2007. When more information is available, it will be posted on this site.
