Ever since I was a kid, photography has always been a hobby of sorts for me. I am now a Structural Engineer, and photography has become a terrific stress relief for the rigors of a professional career. Back about 1995, a friend told me about the Seattle Mountaineers club that had a photography committee that sounded interesting. I went and I was hooked. Ever since, my photography skills have increased ten-fold. My favorite subject is people, especially children and youth sports. Over the past few years, I have turned my hobby into a small business photographing youth sports and I have received numerous awards at juried photography shows and have been published by SEAFAIR and The Mountaineers. The biggest benefit is all of the new friends I have made by getting to know the people on the other side of my lens!

Portfolio: The following images are a sampling of some of my favorites. Junior Rodeo is by far, the most fun sporting event to photograph. Every summer, I travel the circuit to eight or nine junior rodeos scattered throughout the Puget Sound region. Youth soccer and Little League provide many great opportunities during the spring and fall. In winter, the camera gathers dust as I head to the slopes to ski…I have my priorities!
