Monthly Potluck & Slideshow

The Mountaineers Photography Committee encourages a supportive non-competitive environment
in which information and ideas are freely exchanged between advanced and beginning
photographers alike.

The Committee holds potluck dinners and sharing of images on the third Wednesday of every month (except March) at the Seattle Program Center (7700 Sand Point Way NE, Seattle, WA 98115 ). Participants each bring a hot dish, salad, or dessert and up to eight slides, digital images, or prints to share.

Socializing and dinner begins at 6:30pm, followed by the welcoming of guests, announcements of pending activities, classes, photo trips, and seminars, and the recognition of special achievements. A creative fade-dissolve slide show, coordinated to music, is followed by participants sharing their images. The evening events typically end about 9:00pm.
