Photography Committee - Seattle Branch

The Photography Committee encourages members to develop their photographic
skills and creative visions through various activities and programs offered throughout the year.

Monthly meetings feature creative slide shows, print displays, potluck dinners and opportunities to share photo images, experiences and ideas in a supportive setting.

A popular outdoor and nature photography course is offered each spring. The four-week course in basic photography and camera instruction includes classroom sessions as well as optional short workshops on weekends. These workshops provide one-on-one instruction - both indoors and in the field.

Small seminars and workshops on a variety of topics are offered throughout the year to enable all members, regardless of experience, to enhance their skills and creativity.

Monthly field trips are offered to areas of special beauty and interest to photographers, with schedules planned for serious photography. Trips vary widely in subject emphasis and range in length from a few hours to more than a week.

Exhibit opportunities for members are provided at the clubhouse, by the gallery in this website and by occasional outside gallery shows.
