The Study Group



Graduates of the course, and those with some knowledge and experience,  are invited to join The Study Group.   A small one-time registration fee of $35 ($60 for non Mountaineer Members) gives you life-time membership.

Study Group activities include:

•  Presentations by local plant and wildlife experts,
• Opportunities for advanced courses,
• Waived fees for talks in the lecture series,
• An invitation to sit in on the yearly Intro course, and
• Special Study Group Naturalists outings. 

A few Study Group events are arranged with only 2 week's notice - these events are announced by email only.

Study Group members are encouraged to become field trip instructors and trip leaders as they gain more experience. 

Graduates of the Natural World course automatically have leaders permission to sign up for the Study Group.  Others should contact the leader, Cindy Luksus,  to discuss if the Study Group is right for you.
