--How do I sign up on the web to lead a trip?

"You must be listed as a leader on the Backpacking Committee roster to lead a trip."

If you are not a current leader and want to find out how to become one, email our committee chair Todd Mitchell at (206) 297-7176 (before 9PM).

--Online Setup of a Backpacking Trip

To create a backpacking trip online begin with Logging In on the Mountaineers Website.

To get to your profile click on "My Mountaineers" then "My Profile"

Click on "Activities" in the navigation bar at the top.

On the left side click on "Activity Setup"

In "Event Type" select backpack.

After the screen refreshes, enter the destination name in that field. When it appears on the screen, click on the name of the event. The next page will give you an overview of the destination's statistics. If this is the destination you want, click the 'Create new event' button." (This screen allows for various search options)

You will now get screens that you enter the specific information about your backpacking event.

If your destination is not listed then contact Todd Mitchell at (206) 297-7176 (before 9PM) to get a destination created.
