Mountaineers Players entertain the audience with a production of Seussical The Musical
Based on an early Mountaineers tradition of short skits and plays in the woods, Kitsap Forest Theater was built in 1923 in what is now the Mountaineers Foundation Rhododendron Preserve on the Kitsap Peninsula. The Mountaineers Players, one of the oldest outdoor theater groups in the country, put on two shows a year at the Theater, from late May through August.
