Mt. Baker Lodge
Rustic Mt. Baker Lodge is nestled in the spectacular beauty of the North Cascades and is a beautiful, fun getaway three hours from Seattle. See Mt. Shuksan from the dining room windows (photo below, right). Enjoy the mountains and valleys in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest and surrounding wilderness. | Mt. Baker Lodge has an exciting summer outdoor activities waiting for you this year.
The lodge provides a rustic yet comfortable home base for the numerous trails within walking distance or a short drive. Many trails are suitable for children. Lake Ann trail lets you “look a glacier in the eye.” Artist Point is just 3 miles away at the end of a paved road, with panoramic views of Mt. Baker, Mt. Shuksan, and the North Cascades. Snowplay opportunities usually are abundant through August. Make your plans now to be part of our summer fun.
Several groups have signed up for specific weekends. Unless otherwise indicated the lodge is open to all Mountaineers and non-club members, with reservations on a first-call basis to the clubhouse (206) 284-8484 or through on line registration. Payment at time of sign up can be made with credit card or check.

Work parties for repairs and remodeling will take place in July and exterior painting will be scheduled for August & September. We definitely could use your help on weekends and during the week. All meals are provided and there is no charge for those who help with our projects. Join us and meet members of the Baker Committee and other volunteers.
