The lodge is open weekends in the summer from July-September and then again for the winter season starting in November and ending in April, depending on the snow conditions. Several groups have signed up for specific weekends. Unless otherwise indicated, the lodge is open to all Mountaineer club and non-club members, with reservations through Brown Paper Tickets. Reservations in most cases must be made by noon on Thursday prior to the weekend to reserve a stay at the lodge. See the schedule in Brown Paper Tickets for details on each weekend. To obtain a refund, cancellations must be made through Brown Paper Tickets. On weekends, the lodge usually opens by 5- 8 pm Friday (check with hosts) and closes by noon on Sunday. Events are open to all club and non-club members unless noted as Exclusive Use. The individual names listed below, excluding the class contacts, are members of the Baker Lodge Committee and are opening the lodge for that event. Unless otherwise indicated meals provided include Saturday & Sunday breakfast, Saturday dinner. If we do not have the 20 signups needed to justify opening the lodge, you will be notified by email ASAP.
If you have questions about events at the lodge contact the leader from the list below.

Mountaineers Groups: The Mt. Baker Committee encourages groups, such as Scouts, school/youth, or family & friends gatherings, to consider using the lodge whether or not they are members. Not only does the area offer many options for outdoor activities, but it is especially appropriate for experiential classes in outdoor related skills and activities such as avalanche awareness, winter travel, survival skills, MOFA courses, photography, etc. The lodge accommodates 62 persons + hosts, but we generally limit non-member groups to fewer than 25 to allow room for members. To ensure that there is room for your group and avoid scheduling conflicts, please contact Chelsea Liddell, email@example.com before you publish your event in The Mountaineer or your syllabus. Non-scheduled openings may be arranged if hosts can be found but be aware that, since most of our volunteer hosts are working full-time, midweek reservations may be hard to staff. The sooner you ask, the more likely it is that someone can be found.
